week 14
Week 13: November 30th through December 4th, 2020: Monday, November 30th marks the first day of Week 13 this school year. Tuesday December 1st is the official last day of the first trimester. Report cards will be mailed out on Monday, December 7th. This has been a tough time with the virus requiring students to attend school via distance learning for two full trimesters. Be sure to talk with your student’s teachers about their progress and the options available to ensure your student gets the most out of elementary school. Remember, covid-19 should not force your child to lose a year or more of full elementary and middle school education. Meal service will be on the regular schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As always, make sure your student, or students, participate in all video conferences, do all online program work or activities, and complete and submit any work sent home in paper and pencil form. Please inform the school or teacher of any phone, address, or email changes. If we cannot contact you, we cannot provide full educational services through distance education tools. Finally, if there are any issues, questions, or other items, please call the school or email the school. All communications will be directed to teachers or the principal. Thank you and have a great night.

Greetings Red Shirt students, families, and staff. Tomorrow starts week 6 of school for 2020-21. Monday is Native American Day, and no instruction will occur for the holiday. All staff are to report for work on site at the school for work on Wednesday and Friday. Lunches will be delivered on Wednesday, October 14. There will be changes to the lunch program. Parents and guardians: Please continue to encourage students to participate in video conference sessions, actively work on the computer based curricula, and complete any paper pencil work that they receive. We are starting the second week of school! Lunches will be arriving around the same time as previous days. Parents/Guardians, make sure to urge your students to participate in Zooms, complete paper/pencil work, and log into computer classes and applications to do their work. Completion of work and participation by video and audio conference are the same thing as attendance in Distance Learning. If your student is not participating regularly, they may be dropped from the enrollment. Parents/Guardians will have to re-enroll dropped students. Keep up the good work and we will get through COVID!

Greetings Red Shirt students, families, and staff. Tomorrow, September 8th, is the first official day of school for the 2020-2021 school year! Due to some technical difficulties, technology devices will be delivered to students over the next two weeks. Parents/Guardians will need to sign a checkout form with assurances before the devices will be provided. Lunch and breakfast will be delivered every day to enrolled Red Shirt students only starting at 10:30 AM. Please note the time your student's meals are delivered, it will be close to that time every day. Materials and tasks will be delivered and picked up from the students at that time, too. It will be strange to start school without being there in person, but we will make the best of it until circumstances allow a return to school.

We have a date! School will resume for students on September 8, 2020. We will be working online to begin the year. It is looking like this might be the way it goes until the end of October, but we will be monitoring the Tribe's decisions as they relate to shelter-in-place.
