Good evening, Oglala Lakota County School District Staff, Students, and Families. This is Connie Kaltenbach, Superintendent.
Batesland School:
Monday: Happy Earth Day!
Tuesday: Regular day of learning!
Wednesday: Special Olympics @ Todd County.
Okȟólakičhiye Parent Board Meeting at 4:30 pm in the school library. Any parent with a student who goes to Batesland School is welcome to attend. Help us start the planning for next school year!
Thursday:
Friday: Early dismissal at 1:00 pm.
Red Shirt School: We are still in Testing Mode. Go to bed early and get on the bus. You are all doing a great job!
Monday: Regular day. Science testing for 8th grade. High levels of student learning!
Tuesday: Regular day. Girls’ beading after school.
Wednesday: Regular day. Keep up the learning!
Thursday: Regular day. Bake sale for 8th-grade class.
Friday: Short day for students. Staff will have CPI training and finish standards review at in-service.
Rockyford School: Make-up testing will continue this week.
Monday: Track practice.
Tuesday: After-school activities and track practice. The school board meeting at Rockyford is to begin at 3 pm.
Wednesday: Third-quarter awards for students will be held at lunch. After-school activities and track practice.
Thursday: After-school activities. The track meet at Little Wound starts at 9 am.
Friday: 1 pm dismissal. Teacher inservice.
Wolf Creek School: WC continues to do state testing.Popcorn for each class that has 95% test participation or better!
Monday: Earth Day/Unci Maka Activities. Campus Clean up and Poster Contest for students.
Tuesday: Pee-Wee Basketball games at 5:30 & 6:30 pm
Wednesday: Family Literacy Night 4:00-7:45 pm. A meal and door prizes will be served! Students will be dismissed at 1 pm.
Thursday: Pee-Wee basketball games at 5:30 & 6:30 pm
Friday: Early dismissal for students at 1 pm. Staff in service. Ice cream treats for students with perfect attendance for this week!
