Batesland School:
We will resume testing this week for any students that need to finish.

Thursday: Literacy/Math and Talent Show Family Engagement night from 4:00-7:30 pm. Early Dismissal at 1:00 pm.

Red Shirt School: Testing Starts Monday!!!! Get to bed early and get on the bus!!
Monday: SD Math Assessment day one. Learning at high levels
Tuesday: SD Math Assessment day two. Still learning!!!
Wednesday: SD Reading Assessment day one. Hump-day learning at high levels
Thursday: SD Reading Assessment day two. Learning even more! Beading after school.
Friday: Short day for students. Teachers learn at high levels in the afternoon. St. Francis Wačípi and Hand Games at 1:00 PM. Dance and Hand Games club will leave at 9:00 AM.
Rockyford School: We will resume state testing on Tuesday this week and celebrate horse culture this week. Oko le sunkawakan ungloni hanpi kte.
Monday: Sport your Native Bling Day! Horse Presentation by James Star Comes Out.
Tuesday: Cowboy hat day! Decorate your classroom horse. After-school activities include drama, anime, yoga, art club for 5th-8th grade, drum group, gaming club for 4th grade, and Little Raiders basketball. There will also be track practice.
Wednesday: Western wear day! Horses in rodeo and races. After-school activities include building club, gaming club for 5th grade, Lakota Language, STEM club, card games, sewing club, board games, hand games, poetry club, and track practice.
Thursday: Ribbon Skirt/Shirt Day! Horse ceremony at 1:30 will culminate our celebrating the horse week. After-school activities: beading club, gaming club for 6th-8th grade, art club for grades 1-4, piano lessons, myths and legends, Teca Wacipi Club, Little Raiders basketball, and track practice.
Friday: Weekly attendance incentive. 1:00 Dismissal. Staff inservice.
Wolf Creek School:
We will resume State testing this week. Popcorn parties for the classrooms that complete testing.
Monday: Kindergarten Lakota family engagement night 5-7:30 pm. Parents are invited to help make ribbon skirts for the Kindergarten Moving-On ceremony. The meal will be served.
Tuesday: Wolf Creek Science Fair projects are due. Pee-Wee Basketball at 5:30 & 6:30 pm
Wednesday: 8th Grade Parent Meeting at 5 pm in the new cafeteria.
Thursday: Pee-Wee Basketball at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Science Fair projects will be delivered to Piya Wiconi for the Oglala Lakota College Reservation-Wide Science Fair.
Friday: Early release for students at 1:00 pm. Inservice for staff. Special snacks for students with 100% attendance this week.
