The Attendance Incentive Program at Rockyford School is starting today! Great things happen for those that show up. Make sure your students are here everyday, and these are some of the incentives planned for outstanding to perfect attendance (See accompanying image). Some of these are individual incentives, such as the 95% Club. Others are class-based where whole groups of people can win pizza parties and more.
A big attendance day for the school is Friday, September 25. This is considered the annual "count day" and is a major factor for our school funding. The more students we have on that day, the better.
Finally, and the most important thing of all, is that outstanding attendance makes learning easy and impactful for the students. If a one is not at school, one cannot learn. Even the best teacher in the world cannot make up for more than 10, 5, or even 2 days missed in a quarter.
