Good morning, Oglala Lakota County School District Staff, Students, and families. This is Connie Kaltenbach, Superintendent.
Because slushy roads are causing poor driving conditions, we will release early at 12:30 PM today so buses and staff can get home safely. This includes Batesland, Red Shirt, Rockyford, Wolf Creek, LTHS, the Virtual High School, and the District Office.
There will be no practice or activities. The Cultural Exchange Night scheduled for tonight at Batesland School will be moved to Tuesday, October 27th, 2026.
Early Release today for students and staff at 12:30 PM.
Stay safe.
